These terms apply to the Busted website and app provided by Coach Henry LLC. By using Busted, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Contact support@getbusted.org with questions.
Busted is operated by Coach Henry LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company. An amendment to change the company name to Busted App LLC has been submitted and is awaiting state processing.
Who can use Busted
You must be at least 18 years old and use Busted voluntarily on a device you own or are authorized to control. Do not install Busted covertly, pressure someone to participate, or use it to monitor another person without their knowledge and consent.
Protection and accountability
Busted uses iPhone Screen Time controls to restrict adult websites and apps you select. You choose your teammates and the available alert wording before starting a commitment. Your teammates must choose to participate.
Turning protection off can notify your team. If the app loses contact with your phone, Busted may send reminders and eventually a lost-contact alert. A dead battery, a network problem, an operating-system restriction, or a technical failure can interrupt check-ins. An alert does not establish what you viewed or why protection changed.
Review the app’s confirmation before starting or ending a commitment. Some settings are locked during a commitment. Removing the app does not necessarily end server-side accountability or cancel queued alerts.
Use messages responsibly
Provide accurate teammate information and use only contact details you are authorized to provide. Do not send threats, harassment, unlawful content, or another person’s sensitive information. Any custom alert wording remains subject to our service rules and the messaging provider’s requirements. A person entering someone else’s number does not provide that recipient’s SMS consent.
Availability and limits
Busted is in development and is not yet generally available. Automatic SMS and new Pro purchases are not currently offered. Features may change before release. We do not promise that filtering will block every website, that protection cannot be bypassed, or that every alert will arrive immediately. Provider acceptance does not prove delivery or that a person read a message.
Busted is a personal accountability tool, not medical treatment, an emergency service, or a guarantee of a particular outcome. Do not rely on it for urgent or safety-critical communication.
Subscriptions
If paid plans become available, prices, included features, renewal terms, and any trial will be shown before purchase. App subscriptions are handled by Apple and can be managed through your Apple account. Existing purchases remain subject to their purchase terms and Apple’s refund process. A billing or subscription lapse is not itself a reason to send an accountability alert to your teammates.
Busted Accountability Alerts: SMS terms
The planned program is called Busted Accountability Alerts, operated by Coach Henry LLC. It will send recurring automated protection-status notifications to recipients who separately opt in, including deliberate-disable and lost-contact notices for the person they agreed to support. Message frequency will vary with protection events. Message and data rates may apply. Consent will not be a condition of purchase.
You can now save your optional consent using the SMS opt-in form. You must submit your own number, be at least 18, and personally choose the unchecked SMS consent box. Consent is not a condition of purchase or using Busted. A form submission remains pending until phone ownership and the teammate connection are verified and the messaging service is activated. Saving consent does not start texts or create a paid subscription. These terms alone do not provide SMS consent.
You can withdraw saved consent using the private link on your receipt, or contact support@getbusted.org. When messaging launches, reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. After an SMS opt-out, you may receive one confirmation of your request and no further program messages unless you give fresh consent. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Ending participation
Contact support@getbusted.org for help with your account, team participation, or a data request. We may restrict misuse of the service or discontinue a feature. We will handle personal information as described in the Privacy Policy and respect applicable consumer rights.
Service terms and changes
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. If we materially change these terms, we will post an updated version and revise the date above.
